Michaels injured
Miami Angels forward Gianna Michaels sustained a lower body injury when she was hit by a puck on her foot last game vs the Phoenix Coyotes.
This is very unfortunate as the Angels have begun to climb themselves up from the gutter and now will miss one of their top scorers. This is not the first time the Angels have had injury setbacks this season and could have something to do with their mediocre sucess this year. So far 3 of their players have been injured for a total of 5 games and Michaels will be added to the list of further man games missed.

"I didn´t see it coming as I was skating in front of the crease. I just felt my foot explode as the puck must have hit it and I fell to the ice. We have already had our fair share of injuries this year and the problems won´t seem to stop. But the doc told me that nothing was broken so I´m sure I will be back in the game in a round or two." - Gianna Michaels

Michaels left the 4-1 win game vs the Phoenix Coyotes with 1 goal scored on 2 shots in 19:35 played. She managed to score a FG and add 2 hits as well.

She doesn´t look too unhappy on the picture so she seems to be in good spirits and we wish her a speedy recovery.
