Hartnell traded
Forward Scott Hartnell was dealt to the Philadelphia Flyers in a trade involving five players between the Flyers and the Phoenix Coyotes.

The Flyers sent forwards Tim Kerr, Dustin Penner and Wayne Simmonds to Phoenix while acquiring Hartnell and forward Jeremy Roenick, who both have been playing for the Flyers before.

Hartnell was 1+0=1, +/- 0 on 14 shots in 10 games. He also handed out 11 hits during his time with the Coyotes this season.

'Having to leave Philadelphia left a sour taste in my mouth. A feeling of non closure. In Phoenix I had a more defensive role which I was not entirey familiar with. I loved Phoenix and its fans but I'm also very happy to be back here in Philly.'

-- Scott Hartnell
