AFTER ALMOST 13 FULL ROUNDS IN THE 2ND HALF

Claude Giroux
has climbed 55 places, from 65th to 10th in the scoring race.

Johan Franzén
is going the other direction, has fallen from 9th to 35th after only collecting 5p in 12 games.

Beyonce Knowles
has fallen from 3rd to 17th after 6p in 12 games.

Al IaFrate
Must have eaten some good pills halfways :-) He has 12p in 15 games after going scoreless in 19 of 21 games including 18 straight without a point.

Chris Pronger
has 14 p (3+11) in 14 games at home.

There are no scoreless
players with more than 6 games, although there are 31 players with 6 or less games and ZERO points.

Doug Weight owns the leagues worst record with 6 games and zero points.

In Washingtons
game against the Islanders 3 players had 100% in shot-procentage, IaFrate and Ciccarelli 1/1 and the sharpshooter Marian Hossa with 3 on 3!

Jake Allen
has climbed to the top in two categories, Save% and AVG, and has only surrendered more than 2 goals in one game this season (Rnd 21 vs Syracuse, replaced with 85.0%) and has been replaced in another 2 games (of the 13 games he started).

Philadelphia Flyers and Washington Capitals
has the most points since the halfway mark with 18p, although Regina with 17p can pass them both as they have a game in hand. California can also reach 18p - has 16p with one game in hand..

Noah Hanifin
The rookie has made a very impressive start to his career, leading all rookies since the halfway point with 11p in 11 games despite being a defender, on the road - 8p in 6 games!
Whats even more impressing: doing it all playing on a team that is 20th of 22 teams in goals scored.

Johnny Boychuk has 28 shots and NO goals, worst in the league.

On the other side of the spectra
Mike Ribeiro has 9 goals on 31 shots, a shooting procentage of 29.0.

This is really interesting statistics and facts :D I love reading these. I think Phoenix misses Hossa badly. Shit started to happen when they traded him. Jake Allen could be a contender for best goalie this year :) Ribeiro should play more, if he can stay off the booze that is.

I love making them :-)
There is always a risk trading players. The chance of improving a team thats already the 2:n best in the league are slim. The only way is down from there.

Yes, i must use Ribeiro more often. He has an average of 7 min per game!

Washington did not improve with Hossa onboard either.
Pre Hossa  10-4-2
With Hossa 10-7-2

But it takes some time to adjust to a new player after a trade, so if we remove his first 3 games with WSH, all losses, the record would actually be the same 10-4-2.

Detroit
outshot in 10 out of the 12 last games. Record 6-6-0, puckluck?

Miami
has really found the groove under new coach Charlie Huddy.
Outshooting the opponent in 12 of their last 13 games,
a remarkable change from being outshot in 11 of 12 games before that.
+39 in the last 6 games, an average of +6,5/game.

Damien
has the 3 best teams on the road.
