JAMES NORRIS TROPHY

Awarded to the defenseman who leads the league in points at the end of the season. Games played are taken into consideration. Less is better.

Chris Pronger is no stranger to the offensive style of hockey. Racking up points and hits has made him a reliable force for the teams he has been playing for.
Coming over from season 7 Stanley Cup winners St. Louis Blues, many wondered if Pronger was going to be the powerful player he used to be. Pronger left no one disappointed however. With 31 points and 173 hits he proved to be the powerhouse people wanted him to be helping the Flyers claim its first Divisional Title ever.
