Kaberle update
Toronto trades defenseman Tomas Kaberle to Boston for future considerations and 12 hugs. There's a twist in this story: According to a report in XSports by highly respected Swedish journalist Inge Bluff, the final hold-up in Kaberle's deal with Toronto was that they (Boston) wanted to wait until the very last moment to see if he really would fit the team. Bluff, who served as Kaberle's editor for a blog the player wrote for XSports, said that while Kaberle himself has not spoken about his contract situation or negotiations, sources close to the player said he was waiting on the Bruins but the lack of calls from the GM and coach made him feel not welcome anymore.
